sport fishing.
Trekking
Put on your mountain boots, pick up your telescopic poles and follow your favourite
trekking paths in San Martino di Castrozza this is one of the reasons that drives many enthusiasts to spend their summer holidays in the mountains. This sport, very popular also in its less strenuous version,
Nordic walking, makes it possible to establish a more direct relationship with the area and it is extremely educational when you are accompanied by expert
alpine guides. Try the magic of
trekking in the Dolomites for yourself too on the
Cristo Pensante (Thinking Christ) trekking route, so as to blend a stroll with inner reflection and listening to your own feelings, or even on the
Palaronda Trek with its fascinating Plateau at a height of over 2,500 metres.
Events and things to do
In order to make your
summer mountain holiday even better, take part in the local
events or visit the quaint villages where you can discover the
traditions and the
folklore of the Dolomites. Among these, for example,
Fiera di Primiero is worthy of mention, due to the fact that, per surface area, it is the smallest Italian municipality, which in the 15th century experienced its golden age, as it was a commercial hub for trade fairs held throughout Europe.
In any case, there are so many ideas on what to do in San Martino di Castrozza during the summer, such as canyoning, free climbing, Agility Forest activities and many others!
